How Paper Is Harmful to Environment
The environmental impact of paper is significant, which has led to changes in industry and behaviour at both business and personal levels. With the use of modern technology such as the printing press and the highly mechanisedharvesting of wood, disposable paper has become a cheap commodity. This has led to a high level of consumption andwaste. With the rise in environmental awareness due to the lobbying by environmental organizations and with increased government regulation there is now a trend towards sustainability in the pulp and paper industry.
How to overcome this environment issue
Make Paper obsolete
Make Paper Obsolete and how it affects the environment. How it Works The E-Paper Today..... Today society is accustomed to the lifestyle that includes the use of paper
Paper has been a cause for us to not reach our goal for helping the environment
Effect: Less trees that give us our oxygen and absorb our CO2
What if there was a way around these actions? One that could help us form a better tomorrow Everybody needs oxygen but in some of the cities it is bad to breathe it in because of pollution.
If paper becomes obsolete there will be more trees since we won't be cutting them down as much.

If paper becomes obsolete there will be more trees since we won't be cutting them down as much.
One averge size tree can create enough oxygen to support a family of four for an entire year. If we plant 20 million trees we will make 260 million more tons of oxygen
The more trees we have the cleaner our air becomes since trees absorb CO2 and lets out oxygen. An electrophoretic display forms visible images by rearranging charged pigment particles using an applied electric field.
Gyricon, the first type of e-paper, contains billions of tiny half- black and half- white (or other similar colors) beads that when are charged with electricity, rotate creates words and pictures on the "paper", and consisted of polyethylene spheres between 75 and 106 micrometres across.
Electronic paper technologies have a very low refresh rate compared to other low-power display technologies, such as LCD The Animals Most people love animals and with more trees they can get to see them more often.
Most animals need trees to survive either to live in or to eat
With us making paper the trees are being cut down. With making paper obsolette more trees can grow in its place
We are making aniumalsd have to leave their homes .
The U.S.A and Canada are the largest producers of paper. we make 62million papper every year and throw out 44million. 95% of that paper is made up of wood celluloseThat adds up to a lot of trees.
If paper is obsolette and the trees grow back there is a chance the animals will come back
Benjamin Franklin was the first paper merchant in america. He started 18 paper mills in Virginia Saving Money The more trees in the world might help your wallet more that you think
If people plant trees outside their windows they will get a lot of shade
That will help people in the summer because the shade will cool their house and the will have to use their A.C. less
Electrofluidic displays place an aqueous pigment dispersion inside a tiny reservoir Colors Electro-wetting display (EWD) is based on controlling the shape of a confined water/oil interface by an applied voltage.
With no voltage applied, the (coloured) oil forms a flat film between the water and a hydrophobic (water-repellent) insulating coating of an electrode, resulting in a coloured pixel. The first time this electronic paper display was used for a commercial product was the electronic reader by Sony, in 2004
In 2006 Seiko Epson Corp, developed their own kind of an electronic paper with very impressive resolution
The idea of e-paper also inspired the idea for a type of electronic paper that was able to show pictures and words in colors, along with videos In the 1990s another type of electronic paper was invented by Joseph Jacobson. He later co-founded the E Ink Corporation which formed a partnership with Philips Components two years later to develop and market the technology The Screen A document cannot be smoothly zoomed without either extreme blurring during the transition or a very slow zoom. Left overs A limit is that a shadow of an image may be visible after refreshing parts of the screen. Paper was organially made by the chinese in 105ad but was kept a secret for many years Disadvantages History I choose this picture so whoever reads
this will get a good feeling of what the
e-paper generally looks like, since this
it the first slide they see. This picture shows what the E-Paper turns out in result of the electronic technologies that uses very low power technologies. These pictue shows the colors and normal black and white work on the E-Paper and how they are ifferent from each other. This picture shows the layerment of the E-Paper I chose this picture because this is a bird in her nest and it shows how birds need trees to live in. I choose this picture to show how clear this typeof e-paper was when it was first created in 2006.
